Aroostook County Tourism Summit 

Please join Aroostook County Tourism (ACT) for the annual spring tourism summit at the Nordic Heritage Center in Presque Isle. Learn how to market your business better with the help of the Maine Office of Tourism. Also hear the latest Aroostook tourism research and how the region as a whole will be marketed in 2014-15.

Summit topics will include the 5-year Maine Office of Tourism strategic plan, how to utilize visitmaine.com and visitaroostook.com to better market your business to potential tourists, an overview of the Nordic Heritage Center and what it means for tourism in Aroostook County, a final major update on the World Acadian Congress before the August event, and a look at how Aroostook County is being marketed to tourists in 2014-15 and what the latest research tells us about who is coming to visit the region.

Coffee, tea and pastries will be provided in the morning and a light lunch will be served at noon.
