Wellington Post Budget Breakfast

Each year CPAG provides child-focused analyses and commentary of the year's budget. The aim is to provide an accessible and affordable avenue for the community to come together and hear about how the budget affects children and young people, especially our most vulnerable who live in poverty.

CPAG warmly thanks the Wellington PHA for their wonderful support in running this event.

Guest Speakers:

Suzanne Snively (ONZM), Wellingtonian of the Year 2013.  A company director and economist, Suzanne has held a variety of leadership roles in the public and private sector including Price Waterhouse Coopers, The Health Research Council and Transparency International.

Alan Johnson, CPAG Co-Convenor and Housing spokesperson.   Policy analyst for The Salvation Army's Social Policy and Parliamentary Unit and author of their annual 'State of the Nation' reports.

Chair:

Maria Cotter, Wellington Branch Chair, Public Health Association

This event is part of CPAG's Nationwide Budget Breakfast Series being held in five main centres - Whangarei, Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin and Christchurch.  Please click here for further information.

CPAG also intends to provide a comprehensive budget review shortly after the budget is released.  Visit www.cpag.org.nz to get your copy on Friday 16 May.
