Cross System Collaboration is designed to be an overview of the major systems of opportunity within  Clermont County.  Presentations from FAST TRAC, Department of Job and Family Services,  Children's Protective Services, Developmental Disabilities, Juvenile Court  as well as Mental Health and Substance Use Services will be reviewed and discussed.    Cross System Collaboration will discuss the social, cultural and special needs population and how they can be served.

Participants will learn:

  • Available resources in the community
  •  Who to contact and how to make a referral for services
  • The mandates for making reports to Childrens Protective Services as well as what information the individual can receive after the report has been made.
  • How to increase their ability to exercise their cross systems collaboration problem solving skills
  • To increase their knowledge and comfort of other competencies and when referrals should be made

Continuing Education

Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists: The Child Focus, Inc. Training Center is approved through the Ohio Counselor and Social Worker Board. This program is offered for 4.0 clock hours of continuing education for counselors, social workers, and marriage and family therapists. Psychologists: The Child Focus, Inc. Training Center is approved by the Ohio Psychological Association MCE program to offer continuing education for Ohio psychologists. This program is offered for 4.0 clock hours of continuing education for psychologists. Child Focus, Inc., 00PD-3109-52668, maintains responsibility for the program.

Professional Development Hours for Teachers: A statement of contact hour verification will be provided, which educators in turn provide to their Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC). Ohio Revised Code (Section 3319.22) assigns LPDCs the responsibility of reviewing educators’ Professional Development activities as part of their Individual Professional Development Plans (IPDP) and determining if they meet licensure renewal requirements.

Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilitites: A request for 4.0 clock hours of continuing education units for this program will be submitted. Attendee must sign in on the Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities sheet.
