AGP Cultural Training Program 

 

Join us for half-day cultural training program that will help you develop intercultural competence by creating a structured awareness of the impact of culture on business functions and communications across the transatlantic gap. The program will prepare you to be more comfortable and successful when working with colleagues/clients/etc. from Germany. In building on your professional and personal experiences you will expand your competencies, improve behaviors, and increase effectiveness. 

The program will cover various issues by working out differences and idiosyncrasies as well as commonalities between the American and the German work and life styles. 

Program participants will:

• Acquaint themselves with the process of cultural acclimatization
• Understand the main cultural values of Germany & United States an their impact on communication, relationships, teamwork and leadership
• Develop an understanding of the dynamics of business practives and behavior patterns
• Clear up expectations regarding living and working in another country and a different culture (Germany/USA)
• Develop appropriate strategies for their cultural adjustment
• Discuss their personal intererests and questions about the challenges of a sojourner
