"Being and Becoming the Missional Church"
Dear Members, Commissioners, and friends of the Presbytery of Milwaukee,
Our May meeting is just before Ascension Sunday and Pentecost. Both of these events should remind us that God has called us into being to work for the Kingdom, but what exactly does that mean in the 21st century when there is so much cultural and ideological diversity? Does it require us to be something different from what we are? Dr. Bonnie Sue Lewis, a teacher and noted author and speaker, will help us focus on what it means to be “missional,” and disciples of Jesus Christ in our time.
In addition to being instructed, inspired, and motivated by Dr. Lewis, other highlights of the day will include the following:
(There is a lot of construction on I-94 between Racine and the Wisconsin/Illinois border, so check what exits are open and plan on extra driving time accordingly.)
