The Unique Needs of Girls in the
Juvenile Justice System
This is a half-day mini-conference discussing the unique needs of girls who become involved with the juvenile justice system. From how they become involved to the mandatory and voluntary services available, presenters will discuss the "profile" of a girl, including developmental needs, evidence-based models, trauma-informed care, and partnering for effective interventions, among other things.
