Irwin Ross

Irwin has over 40 years of experience in securities and trading. He was a member of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and served on several CBOE committees, which were instrumental in the development of trading and floor procedures. He was co-founder/owner of a trading and clearing firm where he was responsible for the day-to-day training and mentoring of floor traders. Many of those he coached went on to trade on their own account or became heads of their own trading firms.


He has been an investor and advisor of start up business, one was internet-based and another hedge fund related. As such, Irwin has read and analyzed numerous prospectuses and business financials. He has a functional understanding of law and accounting from a business owner/advisor perspective.

Irwin served as Chairman of the Board and then Board Member of a mid-sized dance theater for some 14 years. As Chairman he built a new board, recruited members and helped in fund-raising. He is member of The Joffrey Circle, Joffrey Ballet of Chicago.
