This webinar is for high school and college educators, and teachers-in-training. The focus will be on media literacy pedagogical techniques and provides an overview of Project Look Sharp's free curriculum materials related to peace and social justice issues. The curriculum author will focus on media documents that support diversity, and which enables deeper critical thinking practice with students.

This interactive webinar will include a brief media decoding demonstration video led by a veteran teacher of media and social studies. Sox Sperry will also lead a visual tour of our curriculum kits that are directly related to peace and social justice topics: Media Constructions of Martin Luther King, Jr., Social Justice and Peace.
