Educator Workshop

The Yakima Area Arboretum has partnered with the Franklin Conservation District to offer K-2nd grade educators this beneficial one day workshop.  Registration is handled through the Conservation District.

Participants will receive:
•Growing Up WILD Curriculum Guide (Ages 3 – 7)
•Knowledge and skills to engage students in nature
•Additional resources
•6 FREE CLOCK HOURS!!

Learn how to incorporate environmental education into your existing curriculums for young children. Growing Up WILD is a nationally recognized environmental education program for Pre K-2nd grade students that has reached educators across the nation! Teachers will gain valuable insight into Washington State requirements to teach environmental education and learn first hand the value of natural resource education in the classroom.
