Bradford M. Bolger - Senior Vice President, Healthcare Project Management

Biography:  Brad is a member of Cumming’s senior leadership team and serves as National Program & Project Management Director for Healthcare and Civic Buildings.  Brad has more than 30 years of experience helping owners build and manage collaborative teams for delivery of their capital development programs.  His portfolio includes courthouses, the Disney Concert Hall, academic buildings, and healthcare facilities.  Prior to joining Cumming, Brad served as VP and National Healthcare Market Leader for Carter & Burgess (since acquired by Jacobs).  In 2006, Brad was honored by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and presented with their highest public service award for his leadership and management of the $924M LAC+USC Medical Center Replacement project. Brad also serves on the Board of Directors of the Barlow Respiratory Hospital in Los Angeles.

KAISER PERMANENTE

Michael C Parris, PE - NFS San Diego Service Area, Team Manager

Biography:  Mike Parris is the team manager for National Facilities Services at Kaiser Permanente serving San Diego.  He provides oversight to construction capital projects at the San Diego Medical Center and local medical office buildings.  Responsibilities include the overall direction, administration, completion, and financial outcome of the construction projects.  Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente in 2012, Mike served as the Director of Construction for Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, CA. While there, his project teams delivered the Sue and Bill Gross Women’s Pavilion and Hoag Hospital Irvine, both ASHE Vista Award winning projects.  Mike received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After graduate studies, Mike served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear trained commissioned officer on board the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70).  He is a registered professional civil engineer, Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute and a member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineers.

SHARP HEALTHCARE

Pat Nemeth - Vice President Facilities Management & Development

Biography:  Pat Nemeth is the VP of Facilities for Sharp Healthcare in San Diego.  Sharp HealthCare is a not-for-profit integrated regional health care delivery system, with close to 2,000 licensed beds.  Sharp includes four acute-care hospitals, three specialty hospitals, two medical groups and a health plan.  Sharp was named a recipient of the 2007 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.  With Pat’s arrival in 2009, Sharp transitioned the procurement of all of its major construction work to Design-Build.  Between 2009 and 2013, Sharp has successfully completed over $280M in Design Build construction.  All projects were built on schedule and under budget.  In the fall of 2013, Pat was asked by the Grossmont Healthcare District to take over the management of $211M in traditional public works construction.  Pat is a graduate Architect from UC Berkeley and has a Master’s degree in Public Health Administration.

Ben Ryan – Chief Financial Officer

Biography:  Ben has nine years of experience in commercial real estate.  Specializing in equity placement, deal structure and debt financings, he also has been involved in all phases of development from entitlement to tenant improvement construction management.   He joined PMB in 2011 and has been instrumental in the execution of over $300 million of ground-up development projects.  Prior to joining the PMB team, Ben spent six years as a tax consultant with RPR Partners specializing in commercial real estate and entrepreneurial business. His largest client was PMB where he advised on all of their strategic tax planning and compliance. Ben is a California Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Master’s degree in Accounting with emphasis in Taxation both from San Diego State University.
