Tell Hunger To Take A Hike

5K Walk/Run 

Tell hunger to take a hike in West County by joining us for the first-ever Circle Of Concern Go Orange 5K Walk/Run. The race is timed for serious runners or perfect for a casual stroll along Valley Park’s scenic Meramec River Trail. All proceeds benefit the food pantry and programs of Circle Of Concern, serving local families in need since 1967.

Race Details                                                                                        Registration will start at 7:00 a.m. and end at 7:45 a.m.  The race will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. with the runners, followed by the walkers.  Awards will be distributed per age category starting at 8:45 a.m. Complimentary snacks and beverages will be available after the race.

Parking is available on race day at Circle Of Concern (112 St. Louis Avenue, Valley Park), at the Arnold's Grove Trailhead and along Meramec Station Road.

The Go Orange 5K race will be professionally chip timed. Click the link to find a map of the trail.

Early bird registration (until August 15) is $20 per adult (children 10 and under are free), teams with 10 or more people pay only $15 per adult.

Please no pets allowed due to the race being timed.

Race held rain or shine. No refunds.

Packet Pick-Up Packets                                                                                      Race packets, which includes a t-shirt, race number and map, will be be distributed to participants on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 (3-7 p.m.) at Circle Of Concern (112 St. Louis Avenue, Valley Park) OR at the registration table on the day of the event.

Individual registration is $25 per adult (children 10 and under are free but must be accompanied by an adult and will not receive a t-shirt).

Team Registration                                                                                                                             Groups of 10+ can register as a team. So grab your youth group, co-workers or some friends and register today. Teams will get a discounted rate of $15 per participant (children 10 and under are free but must be accompanied by adults). A credit card payment will be required by the team captain for online registration. If you would like to pay by multiple checks, please see our website for a mail-in flyer.
