SSWBN ~ June 2014
Educational Workshop

How to Leverage Social Media for
YOUR Business

Most companies recognize the importance that social media has in marketing their business but don't know where to begin or what
to do once they are there.

“I know my company should be on Facebook (or Twitter or Pinterest, etc.) but I just don’t have the time and I don’t know what I should post or even how to do so.”

If this sounds familiar, you are in the right place. This half day intensive workshop will take you through the steps you need to start using social media in the most EFFECTIVE manner.  Perhaps you attended a prior workshop that talked about the difference between a personal Facebook page and a business page, or you finally learned what a hashtag is. We will briefly cover those basics but then we are going to dive in and explore which platforms are best for YOUR business. We will show you how to analyze your results and create content that your customers WANT. Not every company is the same, and there is no cookie cutter strategy that works for everyone but this hands-on seminar will get you going on the right path.

This workshop will cover:

  • Social media strategy
  • Customer engagement
  • Content management
  • Discussion of the most popular platforms and which ones your company should emphasize
  • Empowering your employees as advocates for your social media presence

Bring your laptop or tablet and get ready to dive in headfirst
into the social media waters!
