Demystifying Innovation:
Proven Methodologies, Best Practices and How To's

WNG Technology Roundtable

Thursday, July 10, 2014
4:00 PM - 6:15 PM

Please join the Washington Network Group (WNG) when we convene our next event.

The WNG Technology Roundtable is pleased to host a panel of experts, who will help demystify the process of innovation, discussing with us proven methodologies, best practices and the "how to's" of successful innovation.

Our Panelists:

- David Ihrie - Virginia's Center for Innovative Technology, Chief Technology Officer
- Andres Jordan - Factor6 LLC, Founder (former VP of Innovation, Deutsche Telekom)
- Nnake Nweke - Federal Communications Commission, Branch Chief (moderator)
- Chris Villasenor - Mercuri Urval USA, President

About Our Topic:

Our panelists will address questions, including: What is Innovation? What is the Innovation Ecosystem? What does it consist of? How does it help companies achieve success? And what is its role in transformation and change? Participants will learn how to apply and leverage some of the best strategies for understanding future needs, solving technical problems, and developing next generation products and services.

Creativity is no longer the purview of creative people only, nor merely restricted to "Aha! moments." To the contrary, clearly defined concepts such as Design Thinking and Lean Startup have been proven to work and are focused on developing individual contributions through collaboration. While the human creative impulse is the most fundamental piece of the equation, clearly there is a method to the madness...
