Diana Miller is a public relations expert, having provided her expertise to several sectors in Mexico -- state government, the hotel industry and financial sector. She is currently the Corporate Public Relations Director  for Grupo Real Turismo, a multi- brand hotel owner and operator of 42 hotels, including Quinta Real, Camino Real and Real Inn Hotels.

 

Diana has graduate degrees in Business Management for Women, Public Relations and Marketing, Protocol and Personal Image. She is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Relations and CNN Mexico recently recognized her as one of its Women of the Week. Diana has been the President of the OWIT Mexico City Chapter since February 2014.

Ana Maria Salazar Slack, known as the "Mexican Talking Head," is an award-winning international law and national security expert and popular speaker at business conventions, universities, military academies, and government forums. Ms. Salazar received a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from the University of California-Berkeley.

 

A renown author, speaker, and public radio personality,  Ana Maria heads Grupo Salazar, an international consulting firm that specializes in negotiation and mediation training, security consulting, and assisting foreign companies seeking to invest in Mexico (www.gruposalazar.com.mx).

 

She has served in prominent government positions.  Between June 1998 and January 2001, Ms. Salazar worked at the U.S. Pentagon as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Drug Enforcement Policy and Support. Prior to joining the Pentagon, she served in the White House as Policy Advisor for President Clinton's Special Envoy for the Americas. From March 1995 to June 1997, she served in the U.S. State Department's Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs. 

 

Ana Maria has received numerous awards for her leadership and contributions, including recognition by Hispanic Business Magazine as one of the 100 most influential Hispanic Americans in the United States (2000) and as one of the 50 most powerful Mexican women (Forbes Mexico, 2012).

A leading human rights champion, Mari is a graduate of Mexico's most prestigious law school, Escuela Libre de Derecho, and holds a Masters Degree in Banking and Corporate Law from the University of Virginia School of Law. After a short stint in Banking Law, Mari followed her passion for human rights and started working at the UN in New York on gender equity issues and projects related to the violence against women in the Kosovo war and in West Africa. In 2001, she returned to Mexico and continued her important human rights work at Casa Alianza (Covenant House) as the Development Director, leading initiatives on human trafficking, children sexual trafficking, drug abuse and street children, HIV, and gender equity.  Mari has also worked at the highest levels of the Mexican government, collaborating with Mexico's First Lady on human rights issues and community development.

 

As the Director of Social Responsibility at HSBC Financial Group, Mari is responsible for developing programs for Migrant Children (human trafficking), education, street children, and gender equity.
