SCCC Entrepreneurial Assistance Center's "How to" Workshops 

The Entrepreneurial Assistance Center is offering a series of "How to" workshops this summer. The workshops are geared for entrepreneurs looking to start a business in a specific field like: Fashion, Consulting, Catering or a Craft business. Guest speakers will share their business experiences and how they have succeeded. Seats are limited.   Details of the workshops including: dates, times, and fees are listed below.

How to Start a Fashion Design & Retail Business

Learn what it takes to launch your fashion business, from concept and design to production and retailing. No Prior fashion experience required. $25.00 per person.

Choose from one of the dates below:

Monday, June 16 - 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm  or

Friday, June 20 - 10:00 am to  12:00 pm

Light refreshments will be served.

 How to Start a Consulting Business

If you have 10 years or more experience in the field, and have insight information about a specific process, you may be able to provide consulting services to businesses and individuals. Learn how to hone in your skills and get paid top dollars for youre experience.  $25.00 per person.

Wednesday, June 18 - 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm or

 Friday, June 20 - 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

How to Start a Catering Business 

 Food and catering services are the type of specialty business that many corporations and individuals outsource for special events. Learn how to utilize your cooking or baking skills and get paid as a caterer. $25.00 per person.

 Choose from one of the dates below:

 Monday, June 23 - 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm or

 Friday, June 27 - 10:00 am to 12:00 

 Light refreshments will be served.

How to Start a Craft Business 

If you're really good at fixing things, concocting oils, fragrances and scents, or if your hobby is sewing, crocheting, knitting, painting or any other craft, you can utilize your skills to start your own craft business. Learn how to capitalize from your hobby and turn it into a business. $25.00 per person.
