Hosting and Harvesting Conversations that Really Matter

A new type of leadership is being called for in businesses, non-profit organizations, schools, and communities. This style of leadership generates fresh thinking and creates a shared commitment to solving critical challenges in sustainable, inclusive ways. We call this Participatory Leadership.

So many of us are already engaged and committed to working in this way. Now we have the opportunity to come together, deepen our practice, and expand our support for the work and for ourselves.

You are invited to a one day taster of the Art of Participatory Leadership!

Hosted by national trainiers:

Tuesday Ryan-Hart          Eileen Cooper Reed         Quanita Munday             Dan Joyner

Why and how could participatory leadership make a difference in my work?

Purpose of the day

• Provide an introduction to the art of hosting conversations, via experiential learning

• Provide an understanding of the various participatory leadership methods and practices

• Provide the space to reflect on how these processes might be applied to your everyday work

• Share experiences and stories on how it works in different contexts and complex systems

• Provide learning of basic participatory leadership principles which can be used immediately

• Talk about perspectives, needs and questions connected to the next level (training later in the year)

Please join us if you are…

a leader, manager, elected official, entrepreneur, teacher, social innovator, facilitator, community and youth workers… Anyone who wants to experience a different perspective of leadership and making change in our communities.

We all care about our communities! We can shift our patterns of organizing and interacting, build our relationships, set free our creativity and intelligence and achieve real involvement, better collaborations, and sustainable results together.

This day is highly participatory! Come ready to challenge your assumptions, be in meaningful conversations, and explore new solutions for our communities - together.

 $50 per participant

(lunch included)
