Program Description
Over 50% of Japanese M.D.’s practice Kampo Herbal Medicine.  In this course you will find out why, how, and when.

Why? Learn why Kampo outperforms Western Pharmaceutical Medicine in 7 major health issue categories. 

How? Learn hands-on how Hara Palpation simplifies formula selection for fast, accurate pattern identification. “The waist is bigger than the wrist." 

When? Discover which formulas work best for 12 common conditions, including Insomnia, Emotional Distress, Chronic Headaches, Urinary disorders, and Body Aches and Pain, Osteoporosis, and Artherosclerosis. 

24 popular Kampo formulas contained in a handout reference manual will also be discussed in detail, including ingredients, indications, and applications, along with Abdominal Findings.  This course is designed to enable attendees to immediately begin to utilize effective, affordable Kampo Granule Formulas, widely used and researched in Japan, Korea and Taiwan, and relatively unknown in the U.S.
