Faith Formation Registration 2014-2015
The Office of Faith Formation at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish has been spending the summer months getting ready for an excellent upcoming year! If you have participated in the program before, welcome back and know that we are always happy to hear from you. If you are new, welcome! Please let us know if you have any questions.

Program Information
Pre-K through Grade 5
Religious Education for Pre-K through Grade 5 focuses on the Sunday Gospel readings. It takes place Sunday mornings from 9:30 - 10:30 AM. Please note the time change from last year. This is to accommodate the new Sunday Mass schedule. Beginning September 6, Masses will be held on Sundays at 8:30 AM and 10:45 AM.
The Pre-K class is in the Bullock Center, and Kindergarten through Grade 5 is in Cottage Street School. The link below will direct you to our parish website (click on the calendar link on the left side of the page).
Pre-K through Grade 5 Calendar
Middle School (Grades 6-8)
The Middle School program will follow the same format as this past year: All middle school youth will attend one monthly meeting together on a Sunday evening from 6:30 - 8:00 PM or a Wednesday evening from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. During this time, we will have a large group presentation, activity, or learning piece that will engage the youth on a particular topic. Youth will also be placed in small groups (moderated by adults) to explore the topic more deeply.
Each session (Sunday and Wednesday) will be capped at 48 students and will be on a first come, first serve basis. When you register, you will have the opportunity to choose which session.
Enrichment events: These events will be scheduled monthly (approximately) and will provide a more "hands on" opportunity to learn about faith topics. While all middle school youth are welcome to attend all enrichment events, we ask that each youth attend at least three events throughout the year.

Confirmation (Grades 9 and 10)
Our first year Confirmation program (Grade 9) meets Monday evenings twice each month from 7:00 - 8:30 PM. A day long retreat and service opportunities are also important compnents of this program.
Our second year Confirmation program (Grade 10) meets one Sunday evening a month. The program begins with Mass at 5:00 PM, followed by a pizza social and class. The program also includes an overnight retreat and numerous service opportunities.
Registration and Payment
You can choose to pay either via Paypal or by sending us a check. We hope you find this process user friendly.
If you prefer to fill out a traditional paper registration form, you can print one out at Our Lady of Sorrows' website or stop by the rectory and handle it all in person.
