On Wednesday, September 10, 2014, employees of companies throughout New Hampshire will volunteer at non-profit organizations in their communities through their local United Way's Day of Caring. Volunteers will paint and clean up facilities, read to children, deliver meals to homebound elderly, and perform a variety of other services that the agencies often cannot complete due to lack of resources. As a business that supports United Way of Greater Nashua, your company is participating in our 23nd Annual Day of Caring, which promises to be a memorable and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
Agenda for the Day of Caring:
Volunteers will go directly to their assigned project sites in the morning, with most projects starting at 8:30 AM. (Starting time will be listed on job reports, which will be distributed to company coordinators when assignments are made in late August.) A thank-you barbeque for volunteers and their families will be held from 3:00 to 5:30 PM at St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, 500 W. Hollis St., Nashua, NH 03062.
