"Go Light Your World"
Women's Silent Retreat

 Led by:  Fr. Jim Northrop

Jesus tells us "You are the light of the world.  A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden.  Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house.  Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father." (Matthew 5:14-16)

St. Catherine of Siena declared "Be who God wants you to be and you will set the world afire."

God is calling women from every path of life to be a light in the darkness and to recognize the amazing power love has over sin and death through the saving action of Jesus' death and Resurrection.

I invite you to join me as we spend a weekend together drawing upon the wisdom of Godly women in Scripture and in our Saints.  We will find practical ways to break through the darkness that so often surrounds us.  Come and join me as we "Go Light Our World."
