Stephanie Zamora - The entrepreneurial bug bit Stephanie when she started her first business at the age of ten. She has started many businesses since then. In 2003, Stephanie joined the team at KCSourceLink where she shared what she had learned in business with their clients. KCSourceLink connects business owners to a network of more than 200 nonprofit organizations that help people start and expand businesses. In three and half years, Stephanie worked with more than 3,500 existing and aspiring business owners.
Next Stephanie took her experience to the Independence Economic Development Council. As director of Entrepreneurship, Stephanie transformed the Ennovation Center business incubator into a thriving program.
As most entrepreneurs do, Stephanie worked at the Ennovation by day and built a business by night. In 2013, her business had grown to the point it required her full attention and she joined her husband in their business, Assurance Security. Assurance Security provides high tech security systems for businesses and schools in the Kansas City area.
Stephanie continues to share her passion for business as a coach for FastTrac New Venture and she also provides business counseling on the side.
