The Coalition and the PA Youth Suicide Prevention Initiative are looking for sponsors and exhibitors for the PA Suicide Prevention Conference this October. Don't miss this opportunity to get your product, service, agency, etc. in front of hundreds of professionals, task force members, volunteers, and survivors from across Pennsylvania. All sponsors and exhibitors will be highlighted on the Coalition's website and Face book as well as the PA Youth Suicide Prevention Initiative's website.
Local suicide prevention task forces will have an opportunity to place a couple handouts on designated task force tables free of charge. Task forces requiring more space will need to complete the agreement and submit payment.
The 2014 Pennsylvania Suicide Prevention Conference, "Making a Difference Together," is designed to meet the diverse interests and needs of professionals, survivors, and interested parties while creating a powerful opportunities for networking, learning, and prevention technique development, and healing.
The Coalition is offering Act 48 credits at no additional charge for both days of the conference.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Sally Spencer-Thomas
As a clinical psychologist, mental health advocate, faculty member and survivor of her brother’s suicide, Dr. Sally Spencer-Thomas sees the issues of suicide prevention from many perspectives. Currently she is the CEO of the Carson J. Spencer Foundation and the Survivor Division Chair of the American Association of Suicidology. Dr. Spencer-Thomas is a professional speaker and trainer, presenting nationally and internationally on the topic of suicide prevention. She has published four books on mental health issues. She lives in Conifer, Colorado with her partner and three sons.

Annual Conference Goals and Objectives
The goal of the Pennsylvania 2nd Annual Suicide Prevention Conference is to provide a forum for those who share an interest in preventing suicide across the life span, including physicians, psychologists, nurses, social workers, clinicians, educators, and clergy, crisis center staff and volunteers, as well as those who have lost a loved one to suicide or had their own suicidal experiences to meet and share information about suicide, suicidal persons, and the repercussions of suicide.
