 Reiki and Me: An Introduction to Reiki for Social Workers and Mental Health Professionals

Kathryn Regganie, Reiki Master Teacher, Certified Craniosacral Specialist, Ordained Minister

Reiki is a Japanese word that means universal life force energy. Reiki restores the energetic balance and sets an environment for wellness on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Reiki is a great complement to enhance all types of medical treatment. Reiki is safe and does no harm.

About the Presenter:

Kathryn Regganie is a Reiki Master Teacher, Certified Craniosacral Specialist and and Ordained Minister. Over the past decade, Kathy has spent time learning, understanding and practicing Reiki and healing energy. Kathy has since become an expert at using creative healing techniques to help her clients on a physical and non-physical level. Kathy has spent her entire life helping others in a gentle, nurturing way. Even in her almost two decades in the corporate world, she made sure the end client was always taken care of and got what they needed to be successful.

 

About MHEP:

The Mental Health Empowerment Project (MHEP) is a series of educational presentations/trainings throughout the Chicagoland area. Presentation topics range from addictions to bullying to social emotional literacy, and other current mental health topics. The goal of MHEP is to provide mental health providers with the most up-to-date information and tools to successfully treat their clients, as well as to empower consumers to live successful and productive lives.
