Techniques of the Masters with Nichole Hamilton
This class introduces actors to a variety of acting techniques developed by the "Acting Masters".
This class includes:
- exercises to strengthen your voice,
- gain an understanding of your body,
- develop spatial awareness, and
- establish a working actor's vocabulary.
- It will sample techniques from Lessac, Cicely Berry, Stanislavski, Chekhov, Hagen, and Practical Esthetics (from the William H. Macy and David Mamet's school of acting).
This one of a kind "Acting Buffet" meets every Wednesday from 7:00pm - 9:30pm. There will be 6 sessions (July 16 - August 20).

Nichole Hamilton
Nichole Hamilton calls upon a three-dimensional classically trained career that encompasses directing, performing and teaching. A member of Actors Equity Association with Masters of Fine Arts in Theater from the University of Florida, Nichole has trained and directed actors at the San Francisco Shakespeare Company, the California Theatre Center, Mission City Opera and Hippodrome Playwrights Festival among others. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater from the University of Montevallo in Birmingham, Alabama, Nichole performed professionally around the USA. Her professional career credits include performances in: A Midsummer's Night Dream, Twelfth Night, The Taming of the Shrew, A Few Good Men, Dracula, One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest, The Women, Pride and Prejudice, Robin Hood and many others. Her Directing credits include: Love's Labor Lost, The Tempest, James and the Giant Peach, Seussical The Musical, Honk!, Madea, Madame Butterfly, The Taming of the Shrew, Complete Works of Shakespears (Abridged) and A Midsummer's Night's Dream, among many others. Nichole spent the last few years on the faculty at the University of Florida training graduate and undergraduate actors.
