Topic: Recent and Upcoming FASB Accounting Pronouncements

Pedro and Greg will give a brief overview of recently issued and upcoming FASB accounting pronouncements, including the recently issued guidance on revenue recognition.

 

 

Bios:

Pedro Gonzalez is an Audit Partner with Hein & Associates.  He assists both public and private company clients with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) disclosure/reporting requirements, mergers and acquisitions, initial and secondary securities offerings, Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX 404) internal control and reporting. Pedro has developed a focus in the energy, energy services, manufacturing, and distribution industries.

 

Greg Alperin is a Senior Audit Manager with Hein & Associates.  He provides public and private companies with an array of audit services, including initial public offerings, Sarbanes Oxley, revenue recognition matters, business combinations, complex GAAP and foreign currency matters.  Greg has developed a focus in the distribution, energy and construction industries.
