Effective Treatment for Sexually Reactive Youth 

Fresh Start for Children Assessment and Diagnostic Homes, a service of Intercept’s LifeBridge Continuum of Care, is proud to offer a free  training on Effective Treatment for Sexually Reactive Youth by David Sorrentino, LPC and  Cyreeta Price, LCSW.

Participants will learn:

  • To evaluate and effectively intervene when youth are engaging in sexually reactive behaviors
  • Healthy sexual development for youth compared to characteristics of sexually reactive youth
  • Healthy sexual exploration and effective therapeutic interventions
  • Basic strategies to open communications with a sexually reactive youth
  • How to access community resources
Biography of Presenters:

David Sorrentino, LPC is the Clinical Director of the Community Homes with Intercept Youth Services. He
received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington  and a Master of Arts in Counseling Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  David's professional experiences include, child and adolescent acute inpatient unit, partial hospitalization program and a clinician for community homes with Intercept Youth Services.  David is also certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider.

 

Cyreeta Price is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).  She earned her undergraduate degree in
psychology and graduate degree in social work (MSW) from Virginia Commonwealth University.  Cyreeta has been providing community-based and residential mental health services in Virginia since 2004. She specializes in treatment modalities with children and families whose lives have been impacted by trauma to include
sexual and physical abuse.

CPMT Members and anyone interested in the welfare of the youth in our communities.
