Encore Presentation of
A Holistic Approach to Data Management: Using the CRM/ AMS/ Donor Database to Achieve Your Strategy

Wednesday, July 30, 2014
8:30 am - 9:00 am:   Registration & Breakfast
9:00 am - 11:00 am: Speaker Presentations

Our research of nonprofits reveals that:

  • Less than half (47%) of nonprofits consult their strategic plan when deciding which metrics to collect
  • Only 1 in 4 nonprofits say their website, CRM or AMS, and accounting system are fully integrated
  • Only 1 in 4 nonprofits feel they are very effective in capturing and reporting data from their CRM/AMS/Donor system
  • Nearly 4 out of 10 organizations have finance departments minimally involved or not involved in the selection of the CRM/AMS/Donor system

Discover why we find these statistics troubling by joining us for a free session that reviews how to help your organization improve performance and maximize efficiencies in its data management approach.  We will share real-life examples that demonstrate why business strategy should drive software selection and will describe the capabilities of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system/ Association Management System (AMS)/ Donor Database.  Specific topics include:

  • Competencies and perspectives required to successfully execute a holistic data management strategy
  • Conducting a needs assessment and selecting meaningful metrics
  • Business process best practices
  • CRM and AMS: What to expect and what can they do today?
This seminar is best suited for executive management within the organization who are involved with designing and implementing strategy.  Participants may include CEOs, CFOs, Chief Membership Officers, and Chief Technology Officers.
