The Michigan Sheriffs' Association 2014 Fall Training & Trade Show Conference is Sunday, October 19 through Tuesday, October 21 in Cereal City USA (aka Battle Creek).

Silent Auction

The Michigan Sheriffs' Association Silent Auction has quickly become very popular.  This conference we will be offering a great selection of packages.  Items are beginning to come in and we will update this page with photos and details as the donations arrive.  If you have a business in your county that would like to donate an item to our auction please contact Kaye Peterson at (517) 485-3135 or kpeterson@misheriff.org.


Registration

Registration is now available completely on-line.  Please click on the link below to initiate your registration.  Each registration must use the email address of the attendee and each email address can only be used once for this event.  Registrations must be received by Friday, August 29, 2014 to be eligible for the Early Bird Rate.

For those bringing their spouses - please make sure you add them as a guest and indicate whether or not they are coming to the banquet.

Sheriffs' Spouses Outing

We are in the process of planning our Sheriffs' Spouses Outing.  Sheriffs' Spouses will depart from the Hotel Lobby at 8:45 a.m. and will leave the property for a tour, demonstration, lunch and shopping.  Participation is limited to guests over the age of 18.  Due to liability reasons you will be expected to stay with the group for the entire day.  If you do not wish to attend the whole event please refrain from attending.  New this fall: Sheriffs' Spouses will receive an invitation in the mail to the Sheriffs' Spouses Outing.  Your spouse will need to personally RSVP via either phone or email by Friday, August 29 in order to attend.  After this date any remaining spots will be offered to Undersheriffs' Spouses on a first come, first serve basis.  Please keep in mind that while this event is offered to your spouse at no charge, there is a cost associated with their attendance.  Therefore, if your spouse registers for the outing and they fail to attend, you will be billed $25. 

Photography

The Michigan Sheriffs' Association has engaged the services of a photographer for our conferences.  By registering for the 2014 Fall Training Conference & Trade Show you agree that any photographs taken of you may be used in our Newsletters, on Facebook and on the Michigan Sheriffs' Association Website.
