Fall 2014 Learning Session

Please join us for the 2014 Fall NPC-QIC Learning Session 

Kingsgate Marriott Conference Center

Registration and Continental breakfast begin at 7:15 AM on Friday, November 7th.

 

The Fall 2014 Learning Session will be held at the Kingsgate Marriott Conference Center in Cincinnati - a new location for the Collaborative - for the nights of Thursday, November 6th and Friday, November 7th with a checkout on Saturday, November 8th.  

Additional lodging will be provided at the Hampton Inn & Suites (3024 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45219) with a complimentary shuttle to and from Kingsgate Marriott. If you are a parent and would be interested in sharing a room, please see the Lodging Accommodations section on the registration form.

All attendees are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. You can make room reservations online or by phone.

Kingsgate Marriott:

To reserve by phone: 513-487-3800. Ask for the Reservation Center, tell them it is under "NPC-QIC Collaborative" to receive the group rate. They will ask you to select a King or two Double beds.

The NPC-QIC room rate is $135 per night, plus tax. Reservations by attendees must be received on or before October 16, 2014. After this date, the rate is no longer available. 

Parking: Valet parking, fee: $18 daily

To reserve by phone: 513-281-2700. Ask for the Reservation Center, tell them it is under "NPC-QIC 2014 Conference" to receive the group rate (or that the group code is "NP1"). They offer the room option for 2 Queen Beds.

The NPC-QIC room rate is $119 per night, plus tax. Reservations by attendees must be received on or before October 5, 2014. After this date, the rate is no longer available. 

Parking: Complimentary on-site parking is available

Travel:

All participants must make their own airline reservations.

The closest airport to this hotel is CVG-Cincinnati (Note- don't be alarmed...the physical location of the Cincinnati airport is Northern Kentucky!). 

 

Taxi and Shuttle Service:

• Arriving to Cincinnati-There is a courtesy phone located in the baggage claim with all the hotels listed ( Kingsgate Marriot Conference Center and Hampton Inn & Suites). No advance notice is needed. Guests may call on arrival and should then proceed outside the baggage claim doors and over the crosswalk to the median where the vans are permitted to pick up. The area is designated as hotel shuttles.
• Departing from Cincinnati- On return, transfer to the airport is available. Guests can advise the front desk if shuttle is needed. It departs approximately every 15 minutes.

What to wear: Dress will be business casual. You may wish to bring a sweater or jacket since the meeting rooms are cold at times.

Meals: Continental breakfast, breaks, and lunch will be provided on Friday and Saturday.
