Spasmodic Dysphonia is a neurological voice disorder that impairs the ability to speak. The voice may break on certain words, sounding strained and shaky, or it may be breathy, fading away to a whisper. Often times, it feels like it is a constant struggle to get sentences out, limiting one’s ability to fully express themselves.
Join us on Sunday, October 19th, for this Benefit Luncheon to support the National Spasmodic Dysphonia Association. Dr. Robert Bastian, Chair of the NSDA Medical Advisory Board and a leading expert on spasmodic dysphonia, will provide an overview of this challenging voice disorder and NSDA Founder Larry Kolasa will share the history of the organization, celebrating 25 years, as it remains committed to advancing medical research, promoting awareness, and providing support to those living with spasmodic dysphonia.
A silent auction along with a raffle of wonderful items will round out the afternoon. Parking is complimentary.
We hope you will join us and thank you for your support!
