CISM+ Training - If you are driving and not attending ISOM, please plan to arrive on Sunday afternoon, September 21, because the classes start at 8:00 AM CDT on Monday, September 22. Departure will be Tuesday morning, September 23. Classes finish late on Monday, September 22.

Because of the tight transportation schedule, arrival flights will have to be on Saturday, September 20.

Flying information for CISM

Please fly into Branson (BKG) 1-1/2 hour drive from Engeltal OR Little Rock (LIT) 2-1/2 hour drive from Engeltal.

Branson arrivals: Please plan to arrive between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 20. (If this time doesn't work, please call us at 870-446-2252 before you book your flight).

Branson departures: You can book your flight out of Branson anytime after 12:00 noon on Tuesday, September 23.

Little Rock arrivals: Please plan to arrive at the airport NO LATER THAN 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 20. If you cannot arrive by 3:00 pm, please contact us at 870-446-2252 before you book your flight.

Little Rock departures: Please DO NOT book your flight to depart before 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 23.

Transportation Fees: Transportation from Little Rock (LIT) is $30.00 round trip; from Branson it is $20.00 round trip. Please have correct change or a check made out to ETH to pay your van driver.

CISM+ (Disaster Psychology Training) - A Pre-Requisite for Chaplaincy Classes

"And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled:for all these things must come to pass and the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these things are the beginnings of sorrows." Matthew 24:6-7.

Are you prepared to go into these disaster situations and be put to work helping people that are in crisis? End-Time Handmaidens and Servants (and friends of this ministry) who feel called to minister, need to have this kind of training so that we can care for the victims and bring them the comfort of the Lord in their time of trauma.

CISM+ follows the Mitchell model of crisis intervention for individuals and small groups known as debriefing; in addition to other techniques. You will be prepapred to understand a wide range of crisis intervention services including psychological first aid, crisis intervention, power interventions, and the need for appropriate follow up services and referrals.

Participants will receive a certificate of completion that is recognized worldwide. COST: $70.00 per person. This covers the cost of 10 hours of training. Pray about coming to be with us!

CISM+ training is offered by Chaplain Melissa Slagle, MSSW, LCSW, LMFT. She is a tremendous teacher, whom you will all enjoy immensely.
