Jeremy Rupp

Jeremy is a Midwest native and a graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in Construction Management.  Since 2005, I have been a real estate investor, entrepreneur, educator, fund manager and general contractor.

He specializes in value-added acquisitions, construction, distressed property, private money, investment real estate education, strategic entry/exit strategy real estate, as well as helping private sellers save their credit and home. Jeremy currently runs full time operations of a real estate investing company, licensed GC company and a private fund specific to our business in Minneapolis/St Paul, Minnesota.  He has completed acquisitions of millions of dollars of lucrative buy-n-hold endeavors, profitably rehabbed millions of dollars of real estate on fix-n-flips, managed successful construction projects from $30k to almost $2 million, wholesaled millions of dollars of real estate with strategic financing and title exchanges, as well as, negotiated strategic financing on several million dollars of real estate.

Mike Jacka

Mike Jacka is the president and founder of the Minnesota Real Estate Investors Association (MnREIA).

A St. Paul native, he became a real estate agent in 1992.  Since then, his real estate investing background has become very diverse and includes general contracting, rehabs, single family homes, multi-units, rentals and land trusts in addition to wholesaling, foreclosures, pre-foreclosures, short sales, subject-to (Sub2), lease options and contract for deeds.  Currently, his real estate business consists of rehabbing, wholesaling, lease options and creating seller financing as well as some small commercial buildings. 

Clay Malcolm

Topic: An IRA Can Be a Real Estate Investor

Most investors are unaware of how IRAs can be active in real estate deals.  Attendees will learn how use their own expertise to increase their retirement portfolio.  They will also discover how to use other people’s IRAs as a funding source for their personal deals. This fast-paced presentation covers IRA basic orientation, self-directed IRA procedures and rules, and detailed information related to investing in real estate using retirement plans. Be prepared to expand the way you think about your retirement funds, and feel free to bring questions.

Clay Malcolm is the Director of Business Development for New Direction IRA. In this role, he oversees marketing, education programs, and facilitates the training of business development and client representative teams. Clay has shared his expertise regarding self-directed IRAs and HSAs at speaking engagements across the United States.   Currently, he teaches continuing education classes for CPAs, CFPs, and real estate professionals as well as presenting informational sessions for retirement investors looking to acquire precious metals, real estate, private equity, and more.  Clay received his Bachelor of Science degree in communications from Northwestern University.

Kevin Amolsch

Topic: How to Raise $500,000 in Private Money in 20 Days or Less

Kevin Amolsch formed Pine Financial Group, Inc in October 2008 after leaving a small mortgage company as the senior loan officer for residential lending.  Kevin has a degree in Finance from Metropolitan State College of Denver, which he attended after serving four years in the US Army.  Kevin started out in banking, working at First Bank in the lending department while in school.   From there he started his first real estate investment company, which is still active today.  He owns more than 20 properties amounting to over 50 units and has closed on over 700 transactions as a buyer, seller or mortgage consultant. Kevin and Pine Financial Group, Inc have access to over $30 million in private equity and the business continues to see strong growth.

After college Kevin spent two years working with Wall Street as a mortgage bond analyst before leaving to work as a loan officer with real estate investors full time.  He has spent more than 12 years as a real estate investor and 10 years in real estate lending.   He is an author and frequent speaker and has been quoted in The Las Vegas Review JournalThe Denver Post, Yahoo Real Estate and several smaller publications and blogs.

Peter McFarland
