Managing Conflict in the Workplace:
An Aiki Approach

A  new half-day open enrollment workshop from Power & Presence Training for kinesthetic learners who want an experiential approach to education. You won't sit in a lecture hall or training room -- far from it.

Picture yourself exploring your relationship to workplace conflict in a dedicated Aikido dojo -- Portsmouth Aikido -- as you learn a new approach to conflict, difficult people, and troublesome workplace scenarios. See yourself re-patterning physical and emotional habits that keep you trapped in unproductive and stress-producing behaviors and relationships. And feel the freedom that comes with getting unstuck.

Walk away with:
  • Insight into your conflict habits and how they help or hinder.
  • Increased presence and flexibility under pressure.
  • Ability to shift from judgment to curiosity in difficult moments.
  • Choice in how you manage your emotions and the emotions of others.
  • Practical language for difficult conversations.

In this shortened format, you will learn simple Aikido techniques -- centering, energy extension, assertiveness, redirection -- and create applications to change the way you manage conflict and the way you live.

Come prepared to learn, explore, participate, and have fun!
