5K Fun Run September 6, 2014

Take advantage of cooler early morning temps and the opportunity to join others in a
“whatever you want to make it” 5K marked course run or walk. Designed to be fun and allow participants to
test skills or just enjoy getting up and out by themselves or with family or
friends, the runs are FREE and open to all ages and ability levels – runners
and walkers. This is RUNNOVATION!

Part of a monthly Saturday morning Free 5K series, the out and back loop course runs
through the local neighborhood, over the South Bridge onto Siesta Key to
Crescent Beach Marina and back. Safety bike marshals follow runners and walkers on the route.

NEW For Sept. 6th...Think you know your mile pace? Join us for our New Balance Sarasota FREE 5K Fun Run on Saturday, September 6 at 7am to test your prediction skills. Write down how fast you think your run or walk will be, then race the clock to see how close you come to the predicted time. Predict correctly (or come the closest) and win some New Balance $25 gift certificate and swag. All paces are welcome, but GPS devices and watches are not! All Fun Runs start at 7am SHARP. Open to All ages and abilities, including walkers, welcome. Come run or walk by yourself or with family and friends. In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the New Balance Fun Runs/walk, its related events and activities, I, the undersigned, acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:

The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, and while particular skills, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury or death does exist. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the releases or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation.

I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the Company immediately. I understand this New Balance location is an independent licensee of New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc. and independently operates this running program.

I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless New Century Sports, Inc d/b/a New Balance Sarasota and New Century Sports Inc. II d/b/a New Balance University Park, their agents, sponsors, employees, coaches, volunteers, officers, directors, franchisors, successors and assigns, and any and all sponsors, their representatives and successors ("Releasees"), with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property associated with my presence or participation, whether arising from the negligence of the releases or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I attest that I am in good health and physically capable of participating in the run/walk, and my medical care provider has approved my participation. Further, I hereby release, consent to, and authorize, in advance, any such use of my name, photograph, voice or likeness by the foregoing parties in any manner they deem appropriate and necessary without remuneration to me.
