Andrew Ager's highly acclaimed Symphony no. 2 "The Unknown Soldier"
is dedicated to the memory of the composer's grandfather, who fought at Vimy Ridge.
Using lines and prose written by combatants from Canada, England, France and Germany,
the work is a sort of elegy in their own words for soldiers who fell in the Great War.
