Parenting can be a challenge, and the sensitivity and intensity of gifted and 2e learners can be even more difficult -- and rewarding. What do our children need to be successful in school and in life?
Join Summit Center's Dr. Dan Peters and Melanie Prager to learn how to focus on parenting with a growth mindset, nurture innovative thinking, and model a healthy life balance. This evening workshop will help you discover parenting tools to reduce conflict, foster mutual respect, and create greater communication and connection with your children. You'll learn about the characteristics of gifted and 2e children plus tools and techniques for providing you and your child with the support you need!
Twice exceptional (2e) is a child who is simultaneously gifted and has a learning difference. The intensity and asynchronous development of gifted and 2e children can make parenting a particular challenge.
Please join us, but online registration is now closed. Tickets will be available at the door for $30. Note: The building's parking lot is accessible off of 28th Street. This lot is free after 6:00 pm.

She is the mother of 3.
This workshop provides an excellent introduction to Summit Center's six-week parenting course Enlightened Parenting™ for Gifted & 2e Children, which begins October 15. We also offer Guided Parent Discussion Groups beginning October 16.
