DNA Fall Conference 2014
Vigorous Living: Healthcare Issues for the Active Person

Date: Friday, November 7, 2014

Where: Delaware State University

Purpose: A compendium of topics related to recognition, preparedness, and care of the active person.

Objectives

  1. Explore health and safety issues for travelers and active vacationers
  2. Predict the acute care needs of domestic and foreign travelers
  3. Discuss legal and physical aspects of emergency responses
  4. Summarize patient/client education for prevention of disease or injury for the active traveler

Contact hours offered: 6.25

Who Should Participate: Nursing Students, Nurse Educators, Registered Nurses, Advance Practice Nurses

Cost

DNA Members: $89
Non-Member: $99
Student (Undergrad/No CE): $40

Successful completion of the activity: All participants are required to complete an online evaluation form as part of the education activity. An email will be sent to all registrants within one week of the conference. The required online evaluation must be completed by November 21, 2014.

Nurses should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
