Join us for Horizons Bible Study Day as we welcome Rev. Irene Pak, author of Suggestions for Leaders.
Rev. Pak will share insights for leading 2014-2015 Horizons Bible Study, Reconciling Paul: A Contemporary Study of 2 Corinthians by Elizabeth Hinson-Hasty
Irene Pak was born and raised in the “wild west” of Ogden, Utah. She is a cradle Presbyterian and graduated with her MDiv from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. She served as an intern for racial justice and advocacy at the Presbyterian Center in Louisville in 2007 and is particularly passionate about racial justice issues. Irene served for four years as an associate pastor of English ministries and Christian education at Daesung Korean Presbyterian Church in Sunnyvale, California, and is now serving as associate pastor at Stone Church of Willow Glen in San José. She loves to read, play music, cook, exercise, and eat good food.

Registration cost is $20 per person and includes refreshments and programming.
Please note the following changes to this year's event:
Refreshments will be provided during the 2:15pm break period. No meals will be served at this event. Participants are welcome to bring their lunches.
The Horizons Bible Study book is available for purchase online from the PCUSA Online Church Store.
SFTS will not have additional copies of the book for sale at this event.
