MSU Telecommunications Systems Management 15th Anniversary Celebration

Dear TSM Alumni,

On behalf of the TSM Program at Murray State University, I would like to invite you to join us Friday, October 10 for TSM’s 15^th Anniversary Celebration with our TSM alumni, which is also the day before MSU’s 2014 Homecoming activities.  Our TSM meeting will be held on Friday from 1 pm to 4 pm CDT in the Freed Curd Auditorium of the Industry and Technology Building. 

As you know, Homecoming is a time to reconnect with alumni, celebrate the rich Murray State traditions and cheer on the Racers.  This year is extra special for TSM as we celebrate our 15^th year.  It is hard to believe that it has been that long, but our program started in 1999.  CTSM would like to use this year’s homecoming to connect with our TSM alumni in a much more focused way, along with finding avenues to work with alumni more often.

We will have several goals for our time together, along with hearing from a couple of special guests.  One, we want to share with you our accomplishments and happenings over the past 15 years.   Two, we want to promote a sense of community between our TSM alumni and current students, faculty, and staff.  Three, we would like to share with you what your former classmates and other TSM alumni have been doing for the last several years.  And finally, we would like to find ways to involve you and other alumni in new and ongoing efforts within the TSM program.   

Beginning at noon immediately prior to our meeting, we will have lunch available for the group.  It will also provide an opportunity to mingle with fellow alumni along with TSM faculty and staff. 

I would also invite you to stay the remainder of the weekend for homecoming events like the parade, Tent City, and the homecoming game versus Southeast Missouri State University.  TSM has made a name for itself at Tent City with our homemade ice cream and encourage you to try it.  If you are staying let us know and we can help you with tickets to the game.  It should also be noted that Bill Cosby will be on campus Saturday night following the football game.

Please let me know if you will be able to make our meeting and homecoming events. We look forward to seeing you on Friday, October 10.
