Rosies, named for the cultural icon “Rosie the Riveter”, are the women who worked in America’s defense industry during WWII, helping to win the war and changing the American workforce forever. A special tribute to the Marin Rosies is planned, and we need your help to find them.

Did you or someone you know work at Marinship, Kaiser Shipyards or another American wartime factory? Although about six million women entered the US workforce during the war, there is no complete record of all the wartime Rosies. We need your help in building a Marin Rosie Registry. Please send Rosie service information – name, factory, contact information – to mwhf@ywcasf-marin.org.

All Rosies will receive a complimentary ticket to the March 26th event!
