EVENT DETAILS:
*Visit the SMAC GALLERY: Stop by and visit the SMAC GALLERY which hosts CRAIG EDWARDS, a potter whose many travels to Japan and Korea have greatly influenced his work. In addition to Craig's exhibit, the SMAC office and conference room areas contain many pieces of artwork "on loan" from regional artists.
*"Spirit of the Region" Raffle: A $10 raffle ticket will get you the chance to win a basket of specialty goods made in the SMAC Region (from wine to honey, beer to fudge). Raffle tickets available in advance at the SMAC office or through a SMAC Board Member.
*Art Booths: A few artists who have received grants from the SMAC region will have their art available for sale before and after the dinner. All proceeds go directly to the artist.

2014 Prairie Star: Emily Lodine
A mezzo-soprano who has sung with numberous symphony orchestras through the United States, including performing at Carnegie Hall, and across Europe.

2014 Prairie Disciple: John Voit
An instrumental music instructor for Minneota Schools, the director of the Route 68 Big Band, and a performer and volunteer with multiple area community theatres and bands.

The Great Plains String Quartet has been performing together in Worthington and the surrounding area for seven years. The Quartet includes: Melanie Loy (violin), Beth Habicht (violin), Karen Pfeifer (viola), and Sue Simonson (cello).
