Playtime is an important part of childhood development, but as we grow up our “recess time” gets shorter and shorter, often to the point of non-existence.  The
River City Magnolias, an amateur water ballet club,  recognize and embrace
the importance of play and use it to build friendships, self-confidence and a
sense of empowerment.  These water dancers will  lead an exploratory discussion of why playing helps to maintain our social wellbeing and how that
helps us deal with career and life stress.
