and Administration Seminar

The Fall Grant Writing Seminar has been scheduled for
Thursday, October 16th.

On-line registration is now open.  There is no cost to attend as this is sponsored by Contra Costa County and Shell Martinez Refinery.

 The Grant Writing Seminar offers a general overview of American philanthropy, providing participants with an understanding of various types of foundations and grantor agencies, and the general principles that guide their giving. Additionally, focus is given to the research process and basic skills essential for writing winning proposals. Further attention will be placed on developing organizational protocol for administration and budgeting of grants.

A light breakfast, coffee, water and a afternoon snack will be provided.  We encourage you to bring a sack lunch.  A map of local restaurants will be provided at the event for those that choose to leave for lunch.
