Meeting Topic: Arterial Management (SSAM) System for Congested Corridors

Meeting Details:  Have you ever tried to solve a congestion problem or improve traffic
flow on a multilane median-divided arterial?  What methods did you
use?  Did you include new geometrics AND signal timing?  What if you
could go the full length of the arterial and have no stops in BOTH
directions? Steve Meyer, with Alfred Benesch & Company, with be our
guest speaker. Steve will present on Superstreets and proposed implementation
on two arterials in Huntsville, Alabama.

When: 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, Thursday, September 11th, 2014. Registration opens at 11:15 am.

Menu: Burger and hot dog buffet, veggie burgers, pasta salad, chips, cookies, and drinks.

Registration: Early registration via the ITE website ends on Monday, September 9th at midnight.

Cost: $20 Private Sector Member, $15 Public Sector Members, $15 Life Members, $5 Students/Job Seekers, $25 for non-Members.  $5 more if registered after September 8th, 2014. SPSU ITE Students are free.
