What's new? Based on feedback from previous events, the Fall Asphalt Pavement Conference is now spread over two half-days and will include a gala reception. A trade show floor will feature booths by various companies that offer products and services to the industry. Also new this year is an outdoor Equipment Expo where you'll get to see the latest in asphalt paving technology and related equipment up close.
Who's on the agenda? Our featured speakers include Howard Marks, Ph.D., of the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA), who will discuss health, safety and regulatory issues that may impact the asphalt pavement industry. A special "Policy 360" panel discussion will be moderated by Transportation California Executive Director Will Kempton and feature key experts in politics, transportation policy and funding. Technical presentations will cover "Superpave," new test methods, quiet pavements and pavement maintenance. How much does it cost? CalAPA conferences reman one of the great bargains in the industry! Registration for CalAPA members and public agency representatives is just $129 per person, and non-members are just $149, if on-line registration is completed by Oct. 15. The registration fee includes refreshments and light snacks on Wednesday, free admission to our gala reception Wednesday evening (RSVP required), and breakfast on Thursday morning. There is also free access to the trade show floor and outside equipment displays both days. There is ample free parking (with validation) for conference attendees.
