Officially opened on January 1, 1989, Gateway Golf and Country Club was envisioned as the centerpiece to the new Westinghouse Gateway Development. To ensure the highest quality experience, world-renowned architect Tom Fazio was commissioned to design the golf course. Subsequently in 2002, the ownership of Gateway Golf and Country Club transferred from the developer to the Members. In 2014, we celebrate the Club's 25th Anniversary.

Gateway Gives will be hosting its 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Gateway Golf and Country Club.   The proceeds from this event will fund Gateway Gives sponsored programs and projects in the surrounding areas. 

Gateway Gives Foundation donated over $30,000 the last 3 years in support of our community programs here in our local areas and completed hundreds of hours of volunteer time. 

List of some of our programs: Family Assistance Program, Youth  Athletic Assistance, Community Improvement Program.   

The proceeds from this tournament enable the organization to continue to provide family relief for those in need, provide registration fee assistance for Gateway youth sports, fund community improvement projects, and scholarships opportunities.

Golf Event Information

This years Golf Tournament will a 4 person scramble with handicaps. The addition of handicaps will bring a little competitive elements for all teams. The handicap system will allow all the teams to have somewhat of a level playing field.

We will also have 2 flight division, Pay Out and Non-Pay Out. The Pay Out flight will be a opt-in/ buy-in for those teams that enjoy playing for a chance to take home some $$$$'s. For teams that choose the Pay Out flight, it will require an additional fee of $40 per team at the time of registration that will be use to pay out top finishing teams. If teams would rather just play for fun, the Non-Pay Out flight is your option. It will be just fun but you will not be eligable for any Pay Out at the end.

  • Please make sure your teams are aware of the registration and start times as well as all the other event details.
  • Foursomes will have a team handicap and place in the assigned flights (Pay Out and Non-Pay Out)
  • Golfers of all skill levels can play!
  • Awards/Prizes for Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Long Putt, Hole in 1(NEW Jaguar courtesy of Jaguar of Fort Myers!)
  • Mulligans will be available the day of the event
  • Gateway Golf and Country Club Members get a registration DISCOUNT!
