Rev. Toni Ruth Smith is co-pastor of Harrisburg United Methodist Church in Harrisburg, North Carolina.

Toni Ruth Smith was born and raised in the Toe Valley Charge of the UMC in Avery County, NC. She graduated High School from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics before getting her BA in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Toni Ruth is a 2001 graduate of The Divinity School at Duke University. Ordained as an Elder in 2005, Toni Ruth has served as an associate at First UMC in High Point and as the pastor of Hopewell UMC in Trinity. She currently co-pastors Harrisburg UMC with her husband, Rev. Wesley Smith, with whom she has 2 young children. Like so many women, Toni Ruth seeks to follow Jesus in the way she juggles parenting, marriage, and career. She is particularly interested in how we cultivate a spiritual life with intentionality in the chaos of the day to day. Some of you might know her better as Martha Phillips’ daughter, a title she wears with much pride.

Retreat Registration Fee:

• On-site registration at the retreat - $25.00 / person
• Get a DISCOUNT! Register early and ONLINE!
  Online advance registration, through June 7, 2015 is only $15.00 / person!

Advance registration fees are transferable, but non-refundable. So, if someone registers for the retreat, and is unable to attend, their registration fee is not refundable, but it is ok for someone else to attend in their place.

Our online registration offers the opportunity for you to register up to 35 guests at the same time that you do your own registration.  Help other members of your local unit to register online...especially those who may not have a computer!

Online Payment of Registration Fee

Our online reservations process uses ProPay and PayPal to securely process payment of the registration fee. Both are secure, widely used processors of online payments. If you choose the "Pay with Credit Card" option, you will be able to enter your credit card billing information right on our registration page, and your payment will be processed through our ProPay merchant account...very simple!  If you choose to use PayPal, you will be transferred over to the PayPal website in order to either use your own PayPal account, or have the option to process your credit card payment there as a guest. 

DO NOT mail Spiritual Growth Retreat registration fee money to Lake Junaluska. If you have questions about our online registration, or need assistance, call or email one of the contact persons shown at left.

Note: If after you register yourself (or yourself and other guests) you want to add additional guests, you will have to do that using a different email address from the one you used the first time. The system captures the email address as the unique identifier, and does not allow changes to an already processed registration.

To book Lake Junaluska lodging for the Spiritual Growth Retreat:

• Housing reservations for Lake Junaluska facilities for the retreat will open on February 1, 2015.
• Call the Lake Junaluska reservations department at 1-800-222-4930.
  Then select 1 for the Reservations Department, and the next available agent will be glad to assist you.  The Lake Junaluska reservations team is on duty from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Reservations can also be made online, beginning February 1, 2015, at this link. The link should take you directly to the Lake Junaluska reservations page for our retreat. The group code for our event is 7121. If you have difficulty using the online housing reservation system, please call the Lake Junaluska reservations department at 1-800-222-4930. They will be glad to help you make your housing reservations.
