Part 1:  Sun Session

June 5 - Talk: “Finding Your Dharma as a Yoga Teacher”

June 6 - OM yoga Templates: getting on the same page; and Exquisite Sequencing:  Ground, Path, Fruition as a structure to prime the creativity pump.

June 7 Building the Basics:  Creating Vinyasa Flows that Actually Teach Yoga to Newbies; Understanding the Tentpole Principle.

June 8 Smart, Mixed Levels:  inspiring everyone vs “dumbing down,” integrating pre-binds & pre-jumping into flows, creating smarter students.

June 9  - Teaching Arm Balances: It’s not really about the core and buff arms, but about
planting the right seeds to get the right results.

June 10  -  Skillful Means of Touch: Hands-on adjustments basic vs advanced; direction, quality & precision of instructive touch for every category of asana.

June 11 -  Talk: "Yoga is Not An Aspirin,” and Advanced, Steady Progress: ripening into peak experience & vs peak pose.

June 12  -  Teaching Practice and Feedback (morning only) afternoon is time off.

June 12  -  OM Meditation TT, Level 1 6-9 pm, Introduction to Meditation: detailed instruction and a short practice.

June 13  -  OM Meditation TT, Level 1, “Not Knowing, Intimacy and Getting Familiar”  An overview of Buddhist Path; meditation practice and study.

June 14  -  Taking Care of Ourselves as the Ground for Being a Good Teacher: Developing sustainable home practices.

 
 
  
Part 2:  Moon Session (100hr)

August 2  -  One day Teachers’ Retreat:  Asana, pranayama, meditation, discussion

August 3  -  The Interdependence of Inversions: Body, Speech, Mind

August 4  -  Backbends & the Dharma: creating multi-layered instructions integrating philosophy and precise physical action; teaching & adjusting dropbacks, sirsasana drop backs, kapotasana, handstand, scorpion

August 5  -  Teaching Clinic:  Finding Yogic/Dharmic solutions for your Business and Classroom Dilemmas

August 6  -  OM Pranayama TT (11:00-5:30)

August 7  -  OM Pranayama TT (11:00-5:00)

August 8  -  OM Restorative TT (11:00-5:00)
 
August 9  -   OM Restorative TT (11:00-5:00)

Part 3: Mentoring (100hr)
to be completed between June - December, 2015 ................................................

 
In addition to the Sun and Moon sessions, Cyndi will work with you on a personal mentoring program of 100 contact hours, to be completed between June and December, 2015.  This will relate to your personal interests, ie., Pre-Natal, Anatomy, Meditation, Assisting Cyndi and you will have set assignments, courses, homework and accountability with Cyndi.

Certification .......................................................

Upon completion of the two sessions, you will work with Cyndi to develop a personal 100 contact hours mentoring program.  Once you’ve fulfilled your requirements and have Cyndi’s approval, you will receive an OM yoga 300/500 Teacher Training certificate.

Registration will open on November 1, 2014

How to get to Lynchburg:
 
Lynchburg is 3.5 hours Southwest of Washington, DC. 
 
TRAIN: Amtrak train arrives twice daily from parts north, ie. DC, NYC, etc. This is a very fun way to come to Lynchburg.
 
PLANE: You can fly to Lynchburg, on American Airlines or US Airways, with a transfer through Charlotte, NC
 
AIRPORTS:  Charlottesville (1 hr. 15 min.), Raleigh/Durham (3 hours), Washington/Dulles (3.5 hours) Roanoke, (1 hour)
