North Valley Chapter California Deer Association Pheasant Hunt

The North Valley Chapter of the California Deer Association is holding a pheasant hunt for juniors, women, mobility-impaired and veterans. There are morning and afternoon hunts on Saturday, November 22 and Sunday, November 23. Check in times are 7 a.m. and noon. 

With pen-raised pheasant and a controlled, educational and safe environment, this event sharpens basic hunting skills and further develops hunter safety and a sense of hunter ethics and wildlife management.

DOGS, LICENSES & CHAPERONES

Trained dogs will be provided. To ensure a quality experience for all hunters, no outside dogs will be allowed. All applicants must have a valid California hunting license. This license number is required for registration. Adult hunters must have an Upland Game Bird stamp. Junior hunters must be accompanied by a non-hunting adult 18 years or older. Proper attire and hunting orange hat or vest are required. 

LOTTERY DRAWING

Space is limited, therefore a lottery drawing will be held two weeks prior to the event. Those drawn will be notified via email that they have been selected for this hunt.

CONFIRMATION EMAIL

Important note #1: The confirmation email will come from the confirmation@yubafishandgame.net. If you mark this email address as spam or unsubscribe from that email list, you will not be able to complete the registration process and will not be selected to hunt. 

MULTIPLE SIGN-UPS

Important note #2: Since one of the goals of this event is to maximize the number of hunters who can attend, multiple sign-ups are strongly discouraged. Strongly!

If you're good at game theory and/or feeling lucky and want to go mano a cato with the SysAdmin, please be advised that Management has dictated that the "ban hammer" be utilized on those who try to game the system by signing up with multiple email addresses or who utilize other under-handed / nefarious methods.
