SENC RESCUE CHRISTMAS PARADE

This year we will celebrate SENC RESCUE Christmas in beautiful Black Mountain, NC with the Christmas Parade and a campaign to BE THE WISH!

If you’ve not joined us at this event in the past YOU SHOULD NOT MISS THIS YEAR.

Register Now!Your registration must be received no later than November 30, 2014.  If you are unable to join us and would like to make a contribution to SENC RESCUE please visit our website at www.sencrescue.org where you can make a donation via paypal.  We will track your donation for RED Bag and Star recognition.

We will partner with the Lake Tomahawk Parks and Recreation Department located at 401 Laurel Circle Drive, Black Mountain for this spectacular weekend event.  Beginning Friday from 5pm to 8pm you may check in with  your RED Bag and pick up your Guest Gift Bag in the lobby of the Super 8 Motel.

On Friday evening the Town of Black Mountain will host Holly Jolly Christmas.  Stores will remain open until 9pm and you might even see Santa.  *TREASURE HUNT* while you explore the town on Friday evening and Saturday.  Your treasure hunt map/info will be in your Guest Gift Bag.

Enjoy Saturday in town or resting up for the one mile *PARADE WITH YOUR NEWF*.  Come by the Lake View Clubhouse anytime 8am-2pm for check in and RED Bag drop off.  Line up for the parade at 3pm in the parking lot next to the Super 8 Motel.

After the parade please join us on the grounds of the Lakeview Clubhouse at 5:30pm where you will enjoy lakeside music and fun with *SANTA AT THE CIRCLE OF LIGHTS*.  This portion of our event is hosted by the Lake Tomahawk Parks and Recreation Department and the lake will be lit with luminaries and a floating lighted Christmas tree.  As part of our event sharing Parks & Rec has provvided us a FREE! Venue in exchange for Newf participation at the Circle of Lights.  There will be music, hotdogs (don't ruin your dinner!) and SANTA will be set up in his booth for photos.  SANTA will be accompanied by his ELF who will be collecting donations for SENC RESCUE.  We want to be invited back and will need all Newfs participation for photos and crowd mingling.

*BE THE WISH DINING AND AWARD CEREMONY* will launch at 7pm and begin with a catered affair of Chef carved: Poulet Fourre (chicken) with sweet cream butter and fine herbs along with salad, sides AND Triple Chocolate Torte for dessert. (Vegetarian fare will be provided as well!)

After dinner will be a time of Thanks and Recognition.  We know it's the holidays and you made a choice to share your time with all of us and the Newfs.  Your devotiion and contributions to SENC RESCUE are deeply valued and we want you to know it!  We will recognize our event sponsors; and acknowledge and celebrate the RED Bag campaign Shining Stars, Super Stars and Heavenly Stars by lighting of THE NEWFIE TREE OF DREAMS.  (Need info on the RED Bag campaign?  Contact me at tammy_jones007@yahoo.com)

The remainder of our evening we will enjoy the camaraderie and competion of a *LIVE AUCTION*.  You'll have to experience it to believe it.  Please consider what you might donate for the success of the auction and turn in your auction item when you check in on Friday or Saturday.
